Cottage Fail

The client wanted a cottage with a detached garage for a nice li'l lot he has in the country, so this is a scan of the crudely patched up proposition (to fit on a single sheet of paper) that I showed to him, with labels translated into English.
note 1: - all dimensions are metric
note 2: - zoom in for as long as you're getting the "+" pointer
note 3: - "guest bath" is "auxilliary bath", with washer, dryer , boiler and stuff and is near the kitchen and back entrance (garden and orchard)
note 4: - cross-section 1-1 has an error, there should be transparent sections in the ceiling slab
note 5: - the scanner here sucks ass

The guy was a bit confused by this, because his initial sketches/wishes were quite primitive, like a block house with the plan designed by a kindergarten kid, and that's what he expected to see.
His Missus, however, was very pleasantly surprised and liked the overall organization a lot, especially the kitchen area and its surroundings, auxiliaries and so on (and we all know that the Missus ALWAYS has the final say)....except there was something "wrong" with the floor plan, but she couldn't exactly pinpoint what, something undetermined just didn't feel right to her.
Knowing her profile of nosy older housewives, I'm 400% sure that all it would take to "fix" her impression would be flipping the left part so that the kitchen gets situated by the southern wall, thus utterly ruining the southward orientation of the living room....BUT, she'd be able to see the street from her kitchen!

And if you're a nosy old housewife who's home all day, what's more important than that?

The sad part is, I'll never know.
The guy called today, said they have a family emergency, are in dire need of cash ASAP, so he put the lot up for sale.

Another one bites the dust...
